We’re joking of course, ATX United is not the greatest club of all. FC Barcelona, Celtic, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, Feyenoord Rotterdam, and even Real Madrid are bigger, better and greater.
But we strive to get there.
ATX United was founded by our club president Mitch Atherton in 2008, when he had collected enough committed soccer players around him to start a soccer team.
Premier level soccer, D1 level soccer, D3 level soccer, and so on. We combine competitiveness with camaraderie on all levels.
AMSA league soccer during the Spring and Fall. Sunday Soccer Sessions during the Summers. Futsal in the Winters.
Many parties, social events, fundraisers, watch parties.
ATX United is not just about playing soccer. It is also about watching soccer together, or organizing and attending events that give more meaning to ATX United than just being a soccer club.
As they say in Barcelona: “More than a club”. We are a community of soccer lovers, soccer is the common denominator. But we help each other on the field and off the field. It sounds like a cliche but it’s true nevertheless.
We are officially a 501(c)3 non-profit organisation. We only run a profit in the league tables.
